LINDENBERG established itself in 2012. Starting with
the vision of a small group of flatmates in a charming
old villa in Frankfurt, Germany. Since then, the hospitality
group has opened five hotels winning several awards, pursuing the dream of creating exceptionalguest experiences that capture the value of sustainable ecosystems in unique locations around the world. The brand is committed to creating plant-based concepts
with social and environmental sustainability at the forefront of its values.

TRUE LOVE WILL FIND YOU IN THE END.

 Mindset

Sustainability

LINDENBERG prides itself on operating in an environmentally friendly, low-waste manner. Solar energy systems, self-sustaining permacultures that supply the entirely plant-based projects with fruit and vegetables, and regional, fair, cruelty-free hygiene and cosmetic products are among the measures. All of the hotels are GreenSign certified and meet strict sustainability criteria.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

LINDENBERG feels a profound responsibility towards social projects, whether self-founded or through solid partnerships with NGOs: Be it the sister NGO PFEFFERMINZGREEN, which runs exceptional social programmes in Sierra Leone and Ethiopia, or the brand’s self-founded LOST BUNCH, which supports young adults in Indonesia through surfing and other perspectives.

community approach

In each of the LINDENBERG projects, the community aspect is at the core of the experience. In Frankfurt, guests are invited to feel at home with communal areas and spaces designed for people to come together when not in the comfort of their rooms. Simultaneously, the concept in Bali focuses on collective experiences, including campfires on the beach, family-style meals and surfing.

CULINARY

LINDENBERG proudly runs F&B outlets in-house and by teaming up with strong partners, offering plant-based, Umami-Licious cuisine of the highest quality. Herbs and vegetables are farmed biodynamically on permacultures in Bali and the Taunus mountains.

 Culture

Music

Music sets the mood at LINDENBERG. The analogue recording studio LOTTE LINDENBERG at LIBERTINE LINDENBERG – complete with its record label in the basement – hosts regular studio concerts, jam sessions and cinema screenings. An in-house radio station broadcasts fresh tracks live. At LINDLEY LINDENBERG, guests can listen to a curated vinyl collection in the parlour. A select concert enlivens the PANOPTICON, LINDLEY’s first-floor event space, every few months.

Art

Each LINDENBERG project is characterised by many contemporary artworks, including paintings, sketches, sculptures and photographs. In the LINDLEY LINDENBERG alone hang 500 different works of art, each hand-picked. The most significant art installation is at the entrance area of the LOST LINDENBERG, a neon light work by artist Tobias Rehberger. LINDENBERG regularly provides artist residencies and gives artists who are struggling financially the opportunity to stay for free.

 Destinations

LOST LINDENBERG is the hospitality group’s fifth project and the first international based in Bali, Indonesia. LOST LINDENBERG focuses on the collective experience of the guests that are invited to spend their time together in the property’s communal areas. Sanctuary is found in the eight lovingly-designed suites, which are elevated high amongst the West Balinese palm jungle treetops. Set on a long, pristine, glistening black lava sand beach with a private surf spot at its doorstep.
At last, a dream come true: The 100-room property LINDLEY LINDENBERG, opened its doors in Frankfurt’s Ostend in summer 2019. Between its walls: A fresh indoor herb farm, an urban garden with seating, two communal kitchens, a cosy library and music room, a spacious, flexible event area with a varied cultural programme, coworking spaces, a roof terrace, and a fitness studio. Plant-based sweets await you in the bakery area, nourishing vegan cuisine is served daily in the restaurant, and first-rate cock- tails from the bar bring the Wunderkiste to life.
Since opening its doors in early 2016, LIBERTINE LINDENBERG has welcomed guests to its 27 one- to three-bedroom suites, a living room café (equally popular with coffee-loving locals), a recording studio completed by music label LOTTE LINDENBERG, a fitness studio, an open kitchen area overlooking the rooftops of Alt Sachsenhausen, and LEKKER Lädchen – a shop selling home-grown produce. This vibrant community gives the group the courage to dare to dream bigger.
Where it all began: The guest collective LINDENBERG RÜCKERTSTRASSE — tucked away behind the façade of a 150-year-old city villa in the heart of Frankfurt, offering guests ten fully-equipped one or two-bedroom suites and plenty of generous community spaces, including a communal kitchen, dining room, fireplace lounge, terrace and garden, fitness studio, and a plush cinema with a bar. The success of the first shared living concept motivated LINDENBERG to keep realising more projects built on the same heartfelt values.
어두운 숲에서는 모두가 같은 방식으로 빛납니다. In the middle of the forest stands LUCHS LINDENBERG, a tiny, half-timbered house from 1903, redesigned with love and modern comforts in mind. The autumn forest, authenticity and homeliness set the scene of the small, fully equipped hideaway that sleeps two (+child). LUCHS Features a fully equipped kitchen, A cosy fireplace, A wine cellar and a stone pizza oven. Bicycles and rubber boots are provided to explore the surroundings and extensive garden.
